About Me
Kelly is a passionate G10 student at St Paul’s Co-educational College who is deeply committed to improving public health and equity through youth-led innovation. With a strong interest in sustainable business and community development, Kelly combines entrepreneurship with social advocacy to address preventable health challenges faced by underserved communities. Beyond academic pursuits, Kelly is part of the Team Hong Kong WSDC Development Squad, engaging in debate competitions and Model United Nations. She has also started a non-profit to empower children in Hong Kong, providing them equal education opportunities to develop their passions. Through her work, she strives to become a compassionate leader who creates equitable, long-lasting change in society.
Project Description
Soap for Hope is a student-led initiative that works to improve sanitation access for underserved families in Indonesia by providing affordable, eco-friendly soap and community hygiene education. Through organized collection drives and low-coast soap kits, it aims to ensure that households can maintain basic hygiene with regular access to essential sanitation products.
While still in its initial phase, the project aims to distribute soap to at least 50 households through donations, while launching online sales model and hygiene workshops to support long-term sustainability.
Looking ahead, Soap for Hope envisions expanding its reach across Asia-Pacific countries, providing accessible hygiene as a powerful foundation for healthier, more resilient communities.
