Last TUMA with CAAT will be held on 18th October 2023. Enrolment will be open from 1-29 September. Check back here for updates on replacement tests from 2024.
IMPORTANT: On 10th November 2022, Cambridge Assessment Admissions Testing announced that BMAT, ENGAA, NSAA and TMUA will be discontinued from 2024. These tests will run for the last time in 2023.
No replacement has yet been announced. Keep in touch with ITS for more information about how to UK medical schools and selected University of Cambridge courses will be conducted.
The TMUA is a test used by a number of different universities to give you an opportunity to demonstrate that you have the necessary Reasoning, and Mathematical thinking skills that are needed for demanding Mathematics or Mathematics-related courses such as Economics and Computer Science. For Applications to Cambridge the TMUA is compulsory (for Economics and Computer Science), except for mature applications applying to one of the mature Colleges for Economics. Please note that all results will be shared automatically with the University of Cambridge.
The test is run by Cambridge Assessment Admissions Testing (CAAT) and ITS Education Asia is an open centre (#HK109). This means that any candidate may enrol to sit this test with us, whether or not they are enrolled as an ITS student.
Note: There is one sitting for TMUA in Mid-October.
